Administration - Enable Enhanced Security?

So.... I was browsing through Administrator settings and saw under More Settings, this Enable Enhanced Security. The description says:

It is strongly recommended to check this option unless you have integrations that use session identifier before logging in or use unsecured Web Services APIs.

Though  I have some technical background, I don't really understand what this means. What I assume is that if I have no idea if we " have integrations that use session identifier before logging in or use unsecured Web Services APIs", then we probably don't have or use these.
And therefore I should enable this feature, yes?

Re: Administration - Enable Enhanced Security?

Basically that statement says if you have external applications that communicate with Connect through APIs, then don't change this setting without updating those applications to use SSL connections.

If you don't have external applications integrated with Connect, then check the box and Connect will force the content and live meetings to be delivered over SSL.
