Disable hosts ability to allow participant to share screen?

Hi

Is it possible to disable the hosts ability to allow participants to share their screens?

(I know we can prevent participants from requesting it.)

Yes - this can be disabled at the account level. You'll need administrative access to make the change and it will apply to everyone on the account.

Under Administration, you'll see an option to change the 'Compliance and Control' options. These options give you the ability to disable virtually any feature in Adobe Connect including restricting screen sharing.

You can disable it completely or you could also choose to use a whitelist or blacklist of applications that are allowed (or not allowed) to be shared.

Hi Alistair

I was unclear - what I meant was that we need the ability to prevent the host from going to the attendee pod and on a participant, selecting "Request Screen Share".

There are no options in Admin for this as far as I can see.

The option in Admin "Disable request for control" only prevents the participant from requesting control.
