Prepopulate Shareable Event Templates with Replaceable Banner Images?

Hi all, does anyone know if we can create shareable Event Templates with the Banner images prepopulated? What I'm hoping to do is the following workflow:

1) A user creates a new Event based on a Shared template, call in Organization Template 1.
2) The Banner images are already filled in to use our default branding images. However, the user can select a different image using the small or Large Event Banner fields on the Event page. Basically they override the default images.

I see how to create a new template with images, but not ones which would allow the Banner images to be prepopulated and replaceable.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Live United! Todd
