API - Query to return all courses completed on any day

Hi

I need to be able to query the system so that I can return a list of all courses that have been completed on a given day.  The plan is that there will be a nightly scheduled task that fires off this query, parses the results then stores the results in a CMS.

I've reviewed the API documentation and googled this but I'm not finding any documentation that might help me.  Does anyone have any advice?
