Slider malfunction

Hello all.
So my little application uses the videoDisplay component to show an flv video and an HSlider with its value property set to videoDisplay.playheadPosition.
It works great when first uploaded, and even a few times subsequent to that, but at some point after closing the meeting room and reopening it the thumb on the HSlider is no longer visible.
Any ideas?
