Sync a webcam pod

Hi !

Is there any possibilities to synchronise a webcam pod in a meeting room whitout using flash media server.

Using sdk can be sufficient to do this ? (...Dispatch sync event)

What exactly are you trying to do? You don't need an FMS server to stream video in the Camera pod in Connect.

Are you trying to use a custom pod? If so I would refer to the SDK documentation for synching.

Hi !

Exactly, i'm working on a custom pod.

With this pod we'like to be able to switch between different webcam and synchronise content with other participant .

SDK can help me to synchronise video content without using flas media server ?

If you want to publish a stream and let other users see it, then will have to use FMS or similar solutions. If you want to set up your own streaming server somewhere outside which can publish the streams then there are some open source alternatives to FMS too like Red5. In the case you will have to program everything at the server so that you can manage different streams and identify then on meeting and server basis.
