API Call Requirements

Hello all,

I was wondering what requirements - port and networking related, to make API calls? We have a vendor hosted solution and I am attempting to make API calls to our external site, outside firewall, and it seems to be failing. I am wondering if it is because port 80 is not open and is a requirement? Can anyone shed some light?

Vlad, API calls go over HTTP so yes I would assume port 80 as this is the standard HTTP port. If you are running encrypted, it would go over 443 by default.
