Authoring content for Adobe Connect with third party authoring tools

I'm familiar with the features for Adobe Captivate (mac) and Adobe Presenter (Windows) that allow one to directly publish to Adobe Connect.  We have some users that may not have access to Adobe's products.   Has anyone published to Connect using third-party (non Adobe) authoring tools?  If you have, please share what you have learned.

I do not think it is done. Technically should be possible if you know the set of commands and how to talk to Connect server, but I don't think anybody does that. Applications will have to add support for this and I do not see why big third-party apps may like to provide support for Connect.
