Publishing issues with Presenter 7.0.2

Hi

The published files for a Microsoft 2003 compatible presentation (with audio) doesn't publish some of the usual files (index.htm & .swf).

Instead, Presenter generates two files namely pretransform.xml and tagtrans.xml  which I have never seen before as published files.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Is it specific to a single file or you see it with all files having audio ?

I've never heard of this issue. However I would strongly recommend that you update your Presenter software to version 7.0.6. This may not solve the current problem but it will help avoid others.

That would basically mean that the publishing process failed while producing the published output. These two files are one of the intermediate files the presenter generates during publishing.

Can you tell the version of presenter you are using and if possible can you send these 2 files to "v i k a s . s a u r a b h [ a t ] g m a i l . c o m"

Can you try the following steps:
1 Check in Audio Editor if you can hear the audio
2 When you publish in compatibility mode, do you get any error?
3. Also can you try publishing this file without compatibility mode, i.e either in Office 2003 or by saving as PPTX and let me know the result of it?

Hi
After applying the new updates (7.0.6) using the original .pptx file and it works! Just now!  This is crazy, because up until yesterday I would save a pptx to ppt and convert fine with Presenter 7.0.2.
Any ideas!
