sco-upload supported by Connect V8.0?

Hi all,

I am just wondering if "sco-upload" is supported by Connect V8.0 api.
I have seen references that support for this API call was only supported in Breeze?

Also just to ensure I am correct, my understanding of sco-upload is to allow code to upload files to Connect via the web services.
