Can I run FMG on the same VM as Connect?

Hi,

I would like to know if there are any issues with running FMG on the same virtual machine as Connect? Is it recommended to run it on a different virtual machine? This is for the on premise installation of Adobe Connect 8 with 2 Origin Servers.

Since we have a cluster of origin servers, do I need multiple FMGs or 1 is sufficient?
In which situation, I would use multiple FMGs?

I thought of putting this question on to the forum so that I can get some expert advices and recommendations.

You can install FMG on same VM as AC8. There is no incompatibility. But this will defnitely limit the maximum load you can have on that server.

The number of FMG required also depends on that amount of concurrent calls you need to make.
