Odd Connect Pro Server behavior after migration

Hi,

we are moving our Connect Pro server 7SP3 to a newer machine. The new machine is running Winserver08/SQLServer2008. After the installation and Data&Content migration, everything is running fine, but only when we access Connect Pro with a browser on a local server machine. When we connect through a remote machine, we can access the admin interface, but we cannot access stream content (video, mp3) or connect to a meeting (freeze at the end of the connecting sequence).

This seems not to be a firewall issue, we tested the same scenario without the firewall.

anyone has a clue?

we traced the error: there was an incomplete hostname = machinename without domain and tld. So the browser was able to resolve it on the local machine, but not on a remote machine. After the correction to machinename.domain.tld , everything run fine
