Port Numbers for Adobe Connect 7.5SP1
Hello,
We are installing Adobe Connect Pro 7.5 SP1 and I would like to know which are the ports I need to get enabled/opened from our Firewall perspective so that users can access the service over internet from within the firewall and outside the firewall. I have listed them down to confirm if these are the ones I should request my Firewall team to open or are there more?
What about FTP ports?
1935 - RTMP
Intercall Ports
80
443
8443
9080
SIP Port
5060
FMS Ports
2222
8506
Please advise.
Thanks!
Rahul

Re: Port Numbers for Adobe Connect 7.5SP1
Hey Malik,
Those are the exact ports that I have open on our servers minus the ports needed if you are doing a clustered environment for each node to talk to each other. Those ports are:
8506 TCP & UDP
8507 TCP & UDP
Why would you need FTP ports open to the Connect server?

Re: Port Numbers for Adobe Connect 7.5SP1
Thanks!
I wasn't sure if AC7.5 utilizes FTP internally to upload shared content and hence wanted to confirm if FTP ports need to be opened.
I will request the firewall team in my organization to open the following ports and also request them to close 8506 and 8507 at firewall level so that my Origin servers can talk to each other in the clustered environment.
Please confirm if my understanding is correct.
Regards,
Rahul

Re: Port Numbers for Adobe Connect 7.5SP1
Rahul,
If you are running a Connect cluster then you will need 8506/8507 open between cluster nodes for the systems to communicate.
If not I don't believe non clustered Connect systems need these ports.
Have a great day!
