Home Grown LMS

We have an LMS that was developed here.  For various reasons the Powers that Be don't want a free or open source LMS.
How do we get Connect and Captivate to talk to our LMS?
Also we have CS4 Master Collection and the eLearning Suite where do we find Connect and where do we load it?

AFAIK, Connect is not part of the eLearning Suite. I believe it must be purchased as a separate item.
