Edge in the DMZ
Hi all,
I am having a tough time using edge in our DMZ as a connect proxy. the outside can reach the connect instance but when launching a meeting they get:
Your meeting cannot be launched because there is no server available.
Here are my settings
Server in DMZ = connect.agencyName.gov
custom.ini
FCS_EDGE_HOST=connect.agencyName.gov
FCS_EDGE_REGISTER_HOST=172.X.X.183
FCS_EDGE_CLUSTER_ID=edge-us
FCS.HTTPCACHE_BREEZE_SERVER_NORMAL_PORT=172.X.X.183:80
HttpCache.xml
<!-- The real name of this host.-->
<HostName>connect.agencyName.gov</HostName>
Server settings:
Connect Pro Host: connect.agencyName.gov
host mappings connect.agencyName.gov
DNS:
connect.agencyName X.X.X.229 (this is the public IP)
I can trace and confirm all firewall rules are correct (as well as on the servers)
HELP!

Re: Edge in the DMZ
Is the edge server registering on the Server Settings page? Do you see it's hostname listed?

Re: Edge in the DMZ
Yes I see it, may be that you can't see it because you are using IP adress in the config file,

Re: Edge in the DMZ
other thing that the suport people from adobe told me today is that you have to have 2 IP adresses for the edge server, I mean, 2 diferente FQDN to reach the edge server in its two components, the applicacion server and the meeting server.

Re: Edge in the DMZ
Hi dalidavila,
If 2 IP addresses are needed, do you know how to set one IP for application server and the other IP for meeting server?
Thanks a lot for your help.
