Slides changing when changing layouts

We're experiencing an issue when changing layouts.
For example: If I'm on layout ABC, slide 20. I click to be on layout B.  When I come back to layout A, I'm now on slide 19.

I'm also seeing the same thing when I break learners into breakout rooms (if I left them on slide 2 of the presentation, it reverts automatically to slide 1.)

Thanks for advising if you're seeing the same thing/have a suggested fix.
