10.5 image conversion problem
Hi all,
I had my 10.5 upgrade recently and since then when I upload PowerPoint presentations it converts with a fine line around an image. This looks terrible when it's an image on a background, like this:
<I can't post the image here, but I've put it on another forum - https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2649135>
Are you having the same problem? Is there a way to get around this? Do I have to wait for Adobe to fix something?
Thanks,
Jo

Re: 10.5 image conversion problem
I have the exact same problem - it is a general problem with .PNG files that has the alpha channel enabled - Connect converts .PNGs with a transparent background to .PNGs with a white background (hence the white line around your image) - the issue, so far, has emerged when uploading/converting PowerPoint 365 presentations. I haven't experimented further, but it seems to apply to all our older presentations as well, where a master slide containing a .PNG with transparent background, displays our white type logo as a white box with a magenta dot in it.
I am surprised how few has reported this problem and even more surprised that it hasn't been addressed by Adobe yet...

Please report this to Adobe Support so it gets attention. The more people who report it the higher the priority for the fix.
