Problem with Firefox on Fedora Linux

I'm using Adobe Connect from Fedora Linux 26. I have installed the browsers Firefox, Chrome and Chromium with the newest flash.
The connection test works fine with all 3 browsers but when I try to connect to my meeting only Chrome and Chromium work. In Firefox I can log in to my meeting page but when I try to enter the chat room I get the usual window with "Adobe Connect, Connecting..." and that's it. Nothing more happens.

Any idea what's missing? Thanks in advance!

Re: Problem with Firefox on Fedora Linux

In Linux only Chrome is supported:

Tech Specs for Adobe Connect

Linux

Ubuntu 14.04, 16.04; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
No add-in support for Linux. Users on Linux can attend meetings in the browser
Google Chrome
Adobe Flash Player 23.0

That's not to say that the other browsers wouldn't work with Flash Player installed, but it may be an uphill battle.

The hang at the "Connecting" screen is usually a sign that the meeting server can't communicate over port 1935 or 443 if SSL is being used. If you can watch your network traffic, then you may be able to see what is going on.
