Grabbing presentation with camtasia.

Yes, I understand as user/presenter I should be able to save a presentation.
I `m am just a temporarily user; With login in at an url.
I tried to grab this presentation with camtasia software

http://adobemarketingevents.emea.adobe. … cs4vancs2/

Sadly I only get video no sound.
Is there a workaround? Or working Firefox plugin?
Is there difference on this subject between;

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
grab acrobat pro conferencing audio

grab acrobat pro web seminars audio
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

thnks,

Re: Grabbing presentation with camtasia.

getting the recording audio, as well as the screen capture would be a setting within camtasia, rather than a connect setting.
Check the documentation/help in Camtasia for sound configuration.

Re: Grabbing presentation with camtasia.

Try running a male to male cable that goes out from the headphone jack and into to the microphone jack on your machine.  That is what I did in the past to capture the audio using Camtasia.

Re: Grabbing presentation with camtasia.

I capture Connect presentations with Camtasia all the time.  For some of our computers, the sound card does not have a built in loopback, which means that there is no audio for Camtasia to record.  Our solution for that is exactly what Crawdaddye suggests.  You will also want to make sure that you are telling Camtasia to record the audio (a check box in the recording wizard).  In your Camtasia Recorder in the options menu you can select an option to pause before recording, and when you first initiate the recording, it will pause but still show an audio meter indicating if it is getting audio or not.

Let me know if you need any help.
