Adobe hosting and oversea access - any lag time.

Hi,
Anyone have first hand experiences with Adobe's connect hosting with users based in overseas?

In particular, running meetings where there is a video of talking head (the host) and sharing his/her application for everyone to see.

Meeting host and clients based in Australia.

Did you experience any lag, voice sync issues, etc..

Thanks

Re: Adobe hosting and oversea access - any lag time.

We are based in Texas and have presenations that include participants from Austalia.  We do not share a camera, but their expereince when we do software demos with screen share seems to be good.  Obviously seeing someone talk takes a little more accuracy, but so far we haven't seen anything major with our setup as a hosted account.

Re: Adobe hosting and oversea access - any lag time.

We have done sessions with participants globally.

Overall, the experience has been great.

The only issue that we see is when the local (participant) internet connection has 'hiccups'. For us, these 'hiccups' have mostly occurred in the Middle East and Central Asia.

Australia seems to be very good.

We recently conducted an event with one of our clients with a primarily UK audience and overall the experience was quite good.  The lag issues did not seem any worse than a normal event, where user specific bandwidth considerations come into play.
