Possible to use the FMS Server behind Connect by itself

My company is looking to utilize FMS for various interactions as a typical FMS could handle.  We are hoping we can use the FMS that is installed on our Connect servers for this need.  Is this possible?  Would this cause any issues with the Adobe Connect currently installed with the FMS?

I'm pretty sure this would be a violation of your Connect Pro license.  You should definitely check with your sales rep to make sure.  Licenses of FMS Interactive server are only $4,500.

Hi Maryjosie,  Connect doesn't actually use the full FMS product, as its stripped down and meant to work exclusively with Connect, so in short, no you can't use FMS by itself as its not the full product.  You would have to buy it seperate like David suggested.

I thought it sounded fishy when talking with the media department guy.   Thank you so much for the info!  Now I just got to get IT to get off their high horse and buy/install the FMS in our original project plan.
