Powerpoint Slides in Connect not syncing

We will run various meetings in connect and we will have users that are not synced up with the Powerpoint slides. At this time they have to advance the slides on there own. We have tried to contact adobe but this issue remains unresolved. Bug ID: 2340772. Any suggestion or those with similar issues I would appreciate your help
