Adobe 6 & Not Found. The selected resource does not exist.

We are trying to access our trainings & meetings outside of our network. We get the message "Not Found. The selected resource does not exist." when we access from a public ip address.

Re: Adobe 6 & Not Found. The selected resource does not exist.

That's the message that it gives if anything that your trying to access - be it meetings, trainings, content, etc. have been deleted from the system:

If you were trying to access a training that you weren't enrolled in, the message would be:
natraining.png

It sounds like whatever you're trying to view has been possibly deleted.

these have not been deleted. We can access them from inside the network, just not from outside the network.

Re: Adobe 6 & Not Found. The selected resource does not exist.

Are you on a licensed deployment of Connect? This blocking of access may be due to a network policy that IT can address.

However, if you are on a hosted account you should be able to access it from any public facing internet connection.

One thing to check is to log into the server and go to your training or meeting. Click on the URL for that content and see if it launches. If it does not then that is an issue that needs to be brought to Adobe's attention. If it does launch, then make sure that you are putting the correct URL in the browser when you try to access the content. Also, make sure that if it is a training object, that you didn't have a close date and  that has passes or you will get an error message.

Re: Adobe 6 & Not Found. The selected resource does not exist.

We are licensed.
URL launches from INSIDE the network but NOT OUTSIDE the network.
What type of network policy might be in place that would block access? We have made sure the correct ports are open.
We are the IT dept.

Re: Adobe 6 & Not Found. The selected resource does not exist.

I know there are some gurus about having a licensed deployment. I'll see if I can get someone to chime in about what could be causing this.

Gurus? Any ideas? :/

Re: Adobe 6 & Not Found. The selected resource does not exist.

Thanks. I have contacted Adobe & it's been sent up to their Sr. Level Support Techs so it's not for the faint of heart. They have our sql database backup at their place analyzing it supposedly as we chat.

how is your DNS set up?  is whatever FQDN you are using public facing? is there something w/ your DNS server that may re-write or munge a URL it only partially recognizes?

Re: Adobe 6 & Not Found. The selected resource does not exist.

That seems to be where Adobe is heading. We changed some DNS records last night but the tech wanted to do the rest in a test environment before we went any further. We also went into the host record in the system32 folder on the Connect server & put in the public facing FQDN but that hasn't made a difference yet.
