Email opt-in language on events registration page

Hello,

I would like to have a radio button on the event registration page that informs registrants that they'll be joining our organization's email list. By default the button needs to be selected. Is this possible? Thanx

You can add a yes/no question to the registration page and make it required, but I don't know of any way to have the "Yes" option pre-checked.
