Can't Save PPT After Adding SWF
Has anyone else had this problem and figured out how to resolve it? After inserting a handful of SWF files into my presentation, I'm unable to save the PPT. I get the message "There is an active inserted or linked object that can't be saved automatically. Please close object first."
Well, I would love to close the object if I knew what it was or how to do that.
Also. initially, I used FLV's on this project in the slide body instead of SWF. But I found the compression quality very poor for displaying screen captures. Talking head video looked fine, but screen caps did not. The inability to save did not arise until I switched to SWF.
I was using 7.0, but just installed to 7.02. I also installed Active X 10 and re-booted.
Thank you for any assistance you can provide,
David

Re: Can't Save PPT After Adding SWF
Due to the interactive nature of Flash movies there are considerations to be aware of when inserting Flash movies into a presentation.
