adobe connect pro meeting recording issue

Hi everone,

I am having a problem with recording meetings. All meetings are recording automatically. When I start meeting, sometimes camera and voice can not record and sometimes records' disk usage is 0 kb. Server properties are zeon 2.5 ghz. dual core 4 gb ram, raid 5 disks and win 2003 server.

Any ideas?

Make sure that anti-virus scanning is turned off or otherwise skips the hard drive on which the Connect server resides. If anti-virus software is running on that drive (or regularly scans that drive), you will run in to this issue, just as we did on our Connect install, until Adobe discovered this issue.

Re: adobe connect pro meeting recording issue

Hi Hakaan,

Many Anti-Virus programs are deployed via group policies.  Sometimes they do not show up in the list of programs or even in your systray.

I would take a careful inventory of every process running on the box by choosing the process tab in Task Manager and selecting the checkbox "Show Processes from all users".  For example: rtvscan.exe is a real time antivirus scan that might not show up in the list of installed programs or in the systray.

Every symptom you mentioned is consistent with what happens when anti-virus is installed on Connect Pro Server 7.
