http to https redirecting not working

We have secured our application server with ssl.
When i go to http://connect.domain.fi i am redirected to https://connect.domain.fi ,so this works fine

but...
if i go directly to meeting room it does not work anymore
http://connect.domain.fi/meeting1 => i am not redirected to https://connect.domain.fi/meeting1

We have tryed 7sp1 and sp2

Any ideas?

One method of dealing with this is to simply turn off access to port 80.  This will force all connections to SSL/443.  Attempts to reach HTTP will be met with a white-screen, but your service will be secure.
