Get a report of users who accessed content?

Is there a way to get a report that lists the users who viewed content?

We had a content package (html and swf's, not built in Presenter) that we uploaded as content to the Connect Pro server (hosted) and unfortunately there does not appear to be any reporting for it other than 'by slide", "by answer", or "by question". We don't have quizzes or slides in this content and just want to know who logged in (which we required to access this content) to view the content.

Re: Get a report of users who accessed content?

Content tracking is going to give you high level data (how many views, how people have answered the questions, etc.), but will not give you user data. That is what an LMS is for. If you want Connect to track user specific data, then you would need to look at the training module.

The other option would be to look at the Connect events tool or a 3rd party events tool that would then track that the user showed up to view the content.

So would this apply to viewing how many times a recording has been viewed? Would you need some 3rd party software to track this as well?  Or does Connect have a way to view how many times a recording has been viewed?

Re: Get a report of users who accessed content?

If the desired object in in the Content section of the Connect server then it will track how many times it has been viewed. If the object is in the Training section then it will track the number of attempts it took the user to pass (if more than one is allowed) and then will let the user review the content after passing or failing the allowed number of times. If the user watched the object in review mode, then there is no tracking.
