Size Limitations?

We have been experiencing problems with our presentations. They work fine after publishing but at some point quit working and our customers are unable to access them. The presentations contain several one hour long .flvs which results in a large 4 GB file.

Are there size limitations for Presenter? We have been told by Adobe to limit our presentations to 102 MB. We have many other presentations that are well over a 102 MB that have not given us any problems - it just seems to be the really big ones (4 GB).

I recently heard that the 102 MB size limit was dropped for a larger size limit, but never heard a new number. I'm guessing you found it.

Is there a particular reason that you can't break these presentations up into smaller presentations? Say, one Presenter preso per FLV? In my experience most users won't sit in front of their computer doing nothing but watching for more than 1 hour.

Thanks for your response. I have not heard of the updated size limit.

Our presentations are based on all day seminars and are sold as a complete "course" that contain all of the information from the day's events, including 6-8 hours of talking head video.

We remain puzzled as to why the presentations work initially but stop working at random times.

The limit is 160 MB

hi,

we upload larger video presentations too, 200 - 300 mb. in general this does not cause any problems. there might be a bandwidth issue if many people access the presentations simultaneously.

That might be true, but trackable content made with Flash, Presenter or Captivate is 160 MB
