Shut down the VOIP functionality of Adobe Connect

Hi,

Currently, when I start breakout rooms, everyone automatically gets promoted to the level of a Presenter. I can then change the status back to Participants if I want to. I want to find out if there is a way to predefine who should get what status when the breakout rooms start - I want most people to have a Participant status but only a few to have Presenter status. Do you have any suggestions have can I do this?

Our user scenario is slightly different. We are using a separate audio channel to allow phones. The very reason the audio starts up automatically is why we don't want it - it creates audio feedback with the phones.

Does somebody have any suggestions how we can predefine user's role or maybe there is a way to completely shut down the VOIP functionality of Connect?

You can administratively turn off VOIP under Administration | Compliance and Control - Pods Management tab.
