Recording voip meetings

I would like to have a call using our premiere account and broadcast that through voip to our participants. We have the hardware to connect our phone to our computer but when we try to record voip we get an error that premiere doesn't work. if we try it with premiere first then voip doesnt work. can this be done?

Re: Recording voip meetings

What you will need to do is hook up your hardware from your phone to your computer's microphone input.

Once that is done, you can log into your meeting room and start your camera and voice pod.

You do not need to start Premiere audio integration in the meeting room, and actually by doing this you are preventing VoIP from being able to work because Premiere will "take over" the meeting room audio.

Once you have the VoIP established in the room you can then manually dial into your Premiere audio account and the phone audio should be now piped into the microphone input just as if you were talking on a mic using VoIp on your computer.

Hope this helps!

Re: Recording voip meetings

So out of curiosity, who would be on the premiere account?  Do you have more than one presenter?  If your participants are all going to be on VoIP, why not just get a headset mic and present using VoIP as well?  It is not clear from your description is there is a reason you are not presenting with VoIP.  I can tell you that we only use VoIP and it works great for us.
