Connect with USB Writing Tablets

Has anyone tried this out?

They generally work, if that's what you mean.  They are just another pointing device, like a mouse.  I've even used a smartboard as a pointer in a meeting - turned on the whiteboard and drew with my finger. 
As long as your hardware sees the device properly (as a pointing device) it should work with minimal problems.
