User Permissions Do Not Update?

Hello,

I have a room, and a have a user who has been a host for this room. To run a test today I changed her permission to Presenter. After the test I changed her back to a host for that room in Central, however on login the room still loads her as a Presenter.

I have:

- Removed her, and readded from the room = FAIL
- Ended the Room, readded and reloaded the room = FAIL
- Had her clear her Cache = FAIL
- Had her test with another browser = FAIL
- Had her test on a different machine = FAIL

Thoughts?

It may have held onto her permissions for that session of the room. Did you end the session and let it sit for ~15 min before reaccssing the room?

Good Question,

I did not...we tested it right after. In the short term, I logged in and promoted her to host so she could do what she needed. Since then, her permissions seem to have gone back to normal for that room.

Good advice on the 15 minutes. - To any others, if Connect is acting funky, don't overlook the fact that time may be the best solution. Sometimes we overlook that in our need to trouble-shoot.

Do you know if that is the standard for refresh? - Just curious.

A session for Connect will end after 7-15 minutes of no one in the room. So I try to err on the side of caution and just stick with 15 mintues.

Not sure if that is any standard, just the way it is in Connect.
