Delay using Stylus type tools with Whiteboard in Connect

Hi all,

I support a University which presents Financial material to their online participants. In the past we have used a whiteboard and simply zoomed in with a webcam, which worked fairly well.

However, were now creating a blended classroom with live students attending in the room. So our camera will be farther away. We're having shadow and clarity issues doing what we did before.

I'd like to use the whiteboard tools in Adobe Connect. However, using a mouse to draw formulas and graphs is very clunky. Stylus tools like Bamboo seem to have a delay. I start writing and Adobe Connect shows what I'm writing skipping the first second or two.

I don't see how 9.4 has improved anything. Has anyone had any luck screen sharing other whiteboard tools without any serious delays. Thanks much for any suggestions!
