Changed content location and lost meeting templates
I was testing changing the default content location on our TEST server in preparation for migration to a new environment and new file system structure for our PROD system.
We are currently running Connect 8.2.0.1.
1. Stopped the Adobe Connect Service.
2. Copied the content folder from 'c:\Connect\content' to 'd:\connect\content'.
3. Added the following to custom.ini:
--
# Set content path to something other than default location
CONTENT_PATH=D:/connect/content/
FCS_MEETING_PATH=D:/connect/content/
FCS_CONTENT_PATH=D:/connect/content/
--
4. Moved 'c:\Connect\content' a new location.
5. Started Adobe Connect Service.
Presentations looked fine, but meetings (both new and old) now show only a notes pod with "The template you are looking at is the one we use if the default template feature is not working."
The default templates are not listed under Layouts > Manage Layouts.
I moved the old content folder back to 'c:\Connect\content' and restarted services, but still no templates.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Shannon

Re: Changed content location and lost meeting templates
Did you copy all subdirectories under content?

Re: Changed content location and lost meeting templates
Yes, all subs were copied.
I can still view the templates in web GUI under Meetings > Shared Meetings > Share Templates.

Re: Changed content location and lost meeting templates
I un-installed connect and re-installed today. After discussing it we decided to install both the application and content to the d: drive instead of application on c: and content on d:
So this was a "fresh" install, but with the old database.
I'm still getting the "The template you are looking at is the one we use if the default template feature is not working." error when creating new meetings.
Is there anyway to track down why it's happening?
Thanks,
Shannon
