New Downloads Available for Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Communicator

The downloads section of connectusers has recently been updated with some great new add-ins for Microsoft products.

First, the add-in for Microsoft Outlook has been updated. The Adobe Connect Add-in for Microsoft Outlook lets you quickly add your Adobe Connect meeting information to your Microsoft Outlook appointment requests. Using Outlook’s scheduling functionality, you can easily review attendees’ schedules and plan times for your meeting. When you schedule an Adobe Connect meeting, you create an Outlook appointment request that includes your invitees. Outlook then adds this appointment to the calendar of all attendees and provides reminders to all attendees who accepted the request.

In addition to the updated add-in, there is a new administrative installer for IT admins who want to quickly deploy the add-in across their entire organization.

A new add-in is also available for Microsoft Communicator. The Adobe Connect Add-in for Microsoft Office Communicator (MOC) provides Adobe Connect meeting hosts and attendees with a fast and easy way to initiate and join online meetings from within the MOC client. Multiple easy-access menus within the MOC client enable users to invite contacts to a meeting with the click of a button, share documents and rich media, speak in real time, and use extensive collaboration tools within the Adobe Connect meeting environment.
