Static on "S" sounds

Ever since the most recent Adobe Connect update, everyone who uses the streaming audio has static anytime they use "s" sounds. Sometimes is it very minor and other times it is so bad that participants can hardly make out what they are saying. I have tried every troubleshooting option I could find online and nothing helps. Any advice on how to reduce the hard "s" static?

I have noticed this as well but mostly with people using their built-in laptop mic. My solution -- have them switch over to a headset or different mic. If that's not an option, I have them dial in using their phone as the mic. Seems to clear it up in my situations.
