Standard View only. Uploaded slides keep returning to slide 1

We have had around 10 instances recently where someone starts their presentation and then suddenly the uploaded slides jump back to slide 1. This can happen multiple times during a virtual classroom, but only ever in the standard view.
I have tried running the same slides again after a meeting and sometimes it will happen and other times not. The uploaded slides have no timings on them and have been from several different sources so not the same master slides. It is not one of the presenters opening the side panel and going back to slide 1 and it is not a sync button issue.

I have run out of ideas. Anyone else have any ideas?

Yes, this still continues to be an issue in Standard View July 2021 - what's the solution??
