Items Missing from PowerPoint Slides - But Only For Some Users

Back when the "HTML client" was new, we'd find that some of our students would report that items that app users could see were missing from the screen.  When checking recordings (in the browser) we found that the same items were missing (although they were on the recording when viewed in the app).

This has improved with subsequent releases of Connect but we had an issue this week where one student couldn't see some of the items on a slide, but other students - also joining in the browser - could see them.  She sent us a screen shot - this image shows the slide from the recording at the top (as viewed in the browser on a Chromebook) and what the student saw on her Chromebook at the bottom: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gmsVhB … sp=sharing

Has anyone else experienced something similar and found a solution?  The student tried leaving and re-joining the meeting, but the same thing happened again.
