Interference between audio of different breakout-rooms in connect 11

Hello,

some (but not all) of our participants in adobe connect meeting 11 can inadvertently hear the entire audio from other break-out rooms.

Obviously the participants within are upset about the disruptive sound originating from other breakout-rooms and unable to achieve any progress.

It is a known issue reported with the tracking number 4123554 in the release notes for the version 11.0.5.

Any help or information in tackling this issue would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like it was supposed to be fixed with the 11.0.5 update. Is your account on 11.0.5?

Unfortunately we are not very familiar with the interpretation of the following output concerning the current version of our account.

Yet it seems as if our account has already been updated to version 11.0.5 and the abovementioned audio problems in the breakout rooms still persists.

Looks like there are some additional breakout room audio fixes coming with Connect 11.0.6 which had it's release notes posted today. Maybe that will solve this.

Yes - we had this too, with Standard View.  Seems OK running same workshop with Classic View - so hope resolved soon in Standard view so we use this too....

And if it helps, because the version.txt file is hard to read, you can just hover your mouse cursor over the Help link on the Connect login page and it will display a tool tip that shows the version of Connect your account is running.

Hello,

thank you @ Jorma for your helpful advice on how to spot the current version of our account!

Also thanks to Hirstian for validating the audio troubles in the breakout rooms and providing a workaround solution.

Unfortunately the upgrade to 11.0.6 did not result in any improvement of the problems under standard view conditions.

It is still impossible to send our valued customers to breakout rooms without receiving negative feedback about the audio issues.

At some point during the course (sooner or later) our customers always ask us to move to Z**m.

Yet we are Adobe Connect enthusiasts from the very beginnings and convinced by its great potential for effective E-Learning.

Hopefully these persisting issues won't force us to the "Z**m- Point" of no return in the end.

Especially as the seemingly more reliable "classic view" is no longer an option given the end of the flash support.

Totally agree with all of the above - massive fan of AC and no other platform has the same potential but customers have no tolerance for all the basic issues that are still not fixed even in HTML, getting kicked out out all the time, poor audio/video quality etc. It's hard to hold ground over the 'added functionality' of AC when many people can't even enjoy the basic expected features!

Back to your post - we thought this issue was fixed because it hadn't happened in a while but I can confirm even on the latest version the audio interference with breakout rooms has happened once in the last week. It's just really embarrassing to explain to participants

Hello, I also confirm that there is a lot of problem with version 11.0.6 On-Premise. We also mentioned to the support team some Breaking room issues with version 10.6.2a also without having a fix.
it also happens that a user's video and audio is broadcast in two different sub-rooms. In short, it frustrates users
