Ipad writing not aligning in student mode

When I am logged onto Adobe Connect on my ipad, the drawing I do on the slide does not line up the text that the students see.  When I am logged onto MacBook Air in presenter mode and my ipad, as I write on the ipad the writing show up aligned perfectly.  However, when I go back to watch recordings, writing in misaligned and sometimes not even on the student's screen.   How can I fix this?  Why does this happen?
