Screen freezing when I try to set up audio

Hi, When I try to set up the audio the screen freezes on the place where it asks for permission to access audio. When I click allow nothing happens. I have tried disabling all add-ons to see if that was the issue, but the problem continued. Does anyone have any suggestions please?
