Issue with Captions Pod Versions 2.1 and 4.1

Hello,

I am wondering if anyone else has had the following issue with sharing the captions pod for closed captioning during meetings.

When loading the 2.1 or 4.1 swf files into the share pod, we are finding that the pod displays as a shrunken down version, the connection icon stays red (even when captions are connected), and we are unable to see the live text.

We've tried loading the pod in the presenter section, and it will display correctly. When we drag it into the presentation area, it shrinks down (with black bars on either side), and we can not see the captioned text. What makes this issue even more strange is it is inconsistent as some laptops will display the pod correctly, and others will not, also the issue happens in multiple adobe meeting rooms.

We have tried the following troubleshooting techniques with no success:

•    logged in from multiple computers on separate internet connections
•    tested in host and participant views
•    we've reloaded the pod numerous times
•    we've loaded the captions pod first before loading any other share pods
•    we tried using 2.1 and 4.1 versions and had the same issues

We've also reached out to Adobe Support, and they were unable to help as it is a freeware application.

Any assistance with this issue is much appreciated.

Looks like version 4.2 is available from the Apps page. https://www.connectusers.com/downloads/ … d_v4.2.zip

Not sure if that has a fix, but it's worth trying.
