Adobe Connect on Mac CPU 105% and HOT!

I've tested this on 3 separate macbook pro machines and the results are all the same. As soon as I open an adobe connect meeting my cpu usage for the connect application shoots up to above 100% and the fans kick on and my laptop gets very hot. The battery drops as a result. I have been trying to track down what is causing this and adobe says "not it" and apple says "not it".

Is there any way to trouble shoot this. I think it should be top priority for adobe as it seems dangerous.

Thanks,
Josh

No response from Adobe. I guess they will wait until someone's computer burns down their house to fix this.

This is a user community forum, not Adobe Support. So, I would think there aren't any other users here experiencing this issue. You should contact the Connect Support team directly and can do so here https://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-connect/c … pport.html

Josh,

See

There is a new Mac desktop app.   You could try that to see if it mitigates the issue.  See

Josh,

The latest Mac desktop app does not resolve the high CPU usage issue you identified.  Adobe has documented this here

Josh,

Adobe finally released an updated desktop application that is supposed to fix this.   See
