24/7 open room - 'Can't connect until host arrives'

Hi all,

I have a seminar room that I am using as a test login to make sure my registered attendees have created their accounts correctly.

Sometimes my users are able to connect and it works fine. Other times users are getting a message along the lines of that the session has not started and will start when the host arrives.

Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

That message applies to rooms (Meeting or Seminar) that are on an account using either the Named Host license or Named Webinar Manager license.

With these licenses, the individual running the room is the what the license looks for. As a result a member of the Meeting Host group or Webinar Manager XXXX group must be present in the room for it to open up and allow attendees.

If someone joins close to the time where the license holder was in the room, then they may be able to get it, as Connect leaves the room open for a while just to ensure the license holder didn't just lose internet connectivity. Otherwise, they'll see the message about waiting for the host to arrive.
