"Selected document could not be retrieved..."

I (and a coworker) have tried multiple times to upload a PowerPoint to Connect. We've uploaded it as .ppt and .pptx, and we always get the message "The selected document could not be retrieved, please try uploading the document again."

There are no embedded videos in the slides, and although it was originally created in a font that Connect doesn't accept, I've converted the font over to Arial. I can't figure out why it's not uploading. Any ideas? I'm happy to share a copy of it.

Without looking at it, it would be hard to identify what could be causing the issue.

On slide 3 there were some music notes at the end of the text. Removing those solved the problem. If they are important to the message of the deck, put an image there of some notes and that should work just fine.
