UNKNOWN User in classroom

Hi there,

We have created a testing adobe connect room. Once we logged in the room we came across a phone # 408-889-0898 as user in the room. We did not invite in that room as entry in the room is purely invitation only. Please advise how can we remove that user from the room.

Secondly when we submit the invite to participants and they logged into the room via URL and for audio they called in since we use generic number ; how can we identify them with their telephone number when they are using a Generic number to call in. Please advise. thanks,

Re: UNKNOWN User in classroom

The 408 phone number was someone who had called into the integrated phone bridge. They were not in your Connect room (or it was someone in the Connect room who didn't have their phone line associated with their login).

For your second issue, I'm assuming you are just getting a list of the same phone number below the attendees. If you are using a fully integrated phone bridge they should have an option to use a token to associate their own dial in to their Connect login. This can be found by clicking the 'i' button at the top right of the room. Dial that code and it will merger the phone line with the attendee.

Thanks for your response- It was very informative. We figured out the second issue. In reference to first issue( The 408 phone number was someone who had called into the integrated phone bridge. They were not in your Connect room (or it was someone in the Connect room who didn't have their phone line associated with their login). Can you guide us how can we remove that logon id from the room. Please advise. thanks in advance for your prompt attention to this request. thanks Raza

The phone number is a connection to your phone bridge. You may be able to hang them up in the Attendee pod options menu, but it may have to be done through a solution provided by your phone bridge vendor. Many have a web interface that allows you to manage the conference call.
