Play mp4 files won't play in content/trainings

Hello,

I'm new to Adobe Connect and have a rather big problem as we have a set training soon.

We want to add mp4 files to our Content to then use it in our Trainings.

The mp4 files were produced with camtasia but not the smart Player - just the simple mp4 files with no extra features. I have also tried to convert the mp4 to a flv file using the Adobe Media Encoder but after uploading, it did not work again. The only thing we see is a loading bar after we click on the generated link.

Also, the icon for the file looks a little weird to me...

Do you have any idea what went wrong? Ideally, the Videos should just start playing but they won't, no matter what file type it is.

With Adobe Presenter files made from powerpoint, there (obviously) is no problem at all.

What are the encoding settings for the MP4? Generally speaking, here are the settings I use for video in Connect rooms.

MP4
H.264
480 X 720
400 to 800 kbps
MPEG-2 audio
96 to 128 kbps

For FLV you can generally use the same settings.
