Accessibility for VoiceOver screen reader on Mac

It seems that JAWS will work to some extent in Adobe Connect in Windows (though better in a browser window than in the Add-In).  But I have a user on a Mac, and it seems the VoiceOver function will not enter the Adobe Connect room screen. Am I wrong? 
What are others using to provide ADA-compliant access to Adobe Connect users on a Mac?
