Some Completed Users Showing as In Progress

I recently deployed a Captivate 7.0 compliance "quiz" to 1,000+ employees. Of that 1,000, 7 of them swear they completed the course and received a passing grade, but when I view the user report it states, "In Progress" and shows a 0/40 (on the score) although they've completed the 40 question quiz, "passed" it and made it to the results screen. I know at least one of the employees is not "lying" as I sit next to her and I saw her get 98% on the results screen.

However, under user reports, her score showed as 0/40 "In Progress." It was easy enough to "change" her transcript, because I saw her score, but for the other six employees, I cannot ethically do so on a compliance training.

Any ideas on what's going on? The quiz worked fine for 993 users...

Re: Some Completed Users Showing as In Progress

Is there any point where she may have stopped interacting with the Captivate presentation for ~30 min? This is the default timeout for on-demand content in Connect. So if she had stopped half way through to deal with an email, take a meeting, or anything else, after the 30 minutes, the reporting would time out even though she could continue through the rest of the presenation. You may be able to see where this occured if you look at the by slides report to see how far Connect sees her as progressing.

This timeout value can be changed by going to Administration > Account > Session Settings, to give more time if needed. This can be particularly useful if you place longer video content in your presntation.

Re: Some Completed Users Showing as In Progress

I bet so. My staff often times gets "distracted" while completing their compliance quizzes. I will increase the timeout time and see if this helps to eliminate the issue. Thank you very much for your expedient reply.

Cheers.

@24timezone,

You may want to ask the admins of that site, or at least ask in a forum for Flash Player, https://forums.adobe.com/community/flashplayer

Re: Some Completed Users Showing as In Progress

Upping the TIMEOUT length did solve the problem. Apologies for the late reply, but wanted to at least provide some closure here. Better late than never. Thank you for the help.

This community forum is foucused on Adobe Connect http://www.adobe.com/products/adobeconnect.html, so you may not see much help here regarding placing flash in a website. You will be able to get more/better input by asking your question on a forum for your blogging application or in a Flash related forum.
